I'm working on Kiss Me Deadly right now and I just finished Sarah Rees Brennan's story, The Spy Who Never Grew Up, and I am IN LOVE with this author! How have I not read her novel yet?! Peter Pan as a spy for the British government? Who can't seem to stay away from Wendy's descendents? Fantastic! Because who wasn't a bit in love with Peter as a young girl? I'm still pissed that Wendy didn't stay with him (or he with her). I suggest that you go out and acquire this short story collection immediately! The other stories so far range from pretty good to very creepy, every one worth a read. Full-length review coming soon!
'm looking forward to Kiss Me deadly, and I have a Sarah Reese Brennan book here that I'm hoping to fit in soon. I'm glad to hear she's a great writer! Now maybe I'll fit it in a little sooner ;)
I had a look at her site and it turns out she's Irish, which explains the amazing story-telling skills. There are also tons of short stories, mostly that go along with The Demon's Lexicon, on the web for free, with links on her site. I can't wait to get done with the book so I can devour them.
